Lauren Beward, M.S.
Director of Business Development
Ms. Lauren Beward, M.S., joined the Bravura team in April 2018 and was named the Director of Business Development in April 2025. Before stepping into her senior leadership role, she excelled as the Business Development Manager, where she led her team to secure a series of high-impact contract wins. This included multimillion dollar task orders, multibillion dollar government-wide acquisition contracts, and several independent awards. She held additional roles as Bravura’s ITES-3S BD and Proposal Manager, helping to build the task order response process from the ground-up, and as an Engineering Technical Writer on the PSS-T Aerostat Program, supporting the Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) process to design and develop solutions to mitigate obsolescence and improve operational availability. Lauren has 17 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, and Administrative Support, including 12 years of experience in Government/Defense Contracting and proposal preparation.
Lauren is an active member of the local community, serving as President of the AFCEA Aberdeen Chapter, a member of the Harford County Region United Network (RUN) Advisory Board for United Way of Central Maryland (UWCM), and a Women United Pathways to Leadership fellow for 2026-2027. She has held countless volunteer roles and board positions with local non-profits, professional associations, and artistic companies and is an active member of AFCEA, the Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA), Industrial Representatives Association (IRA), Northeastern Maryland Technology Council (NMTC), Women in Defense (WID), and the Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society.
