Job Description:
Qualifications:
The Senior SCRUM Master requires the following minimum skills and expertise:
- 5+ years’ experience in the following areas:
- Working with software developers & customers to scope projects, estimate levels of effort, & evaluate customer requirements to create applications to deploy to MS SharePoint (both out-of-the-box & with custom code) and MS IIS using MS .NET Framework.
- SDLC & Agile processes.
- 3+ years’ experience mentoring junior personnel on proper practices & procedures.
- Requires TS/SCI clearance with SBI & ability to attain SI, TK, G, HCS, & NATO Secret clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily SCRUM, stand-ups, & meetings to support Agile Software Development Process.
- Use agile methodology values, principles, & practices to plan, manage, & deliver solutions.
- Train, mentor, & support scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, & practices.
- Monitor & track project progress/performance against project plans.
- Work closely with Requirements Engineer to review requirements from customers.
- Facilitate sprint planning sessions; provide oversight & guidance to define tasks to include.
- Assist development team to define & maintain work in progress & sprint task limits.
- Facilitate planning sessions to define epics, feature, backlog items, & estimated level of effort estimates for development.
- Work with business stakeholders to define & prioritize new features/enhancements to add to projects.
- Plan & organize demos, product/system testing.
- Assist development team to make progress on project by ensuring team working on right tasks, helping remove obstacles to progress, & protecting team from distractions.
