Qualifications:

  • Must have 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining a DoD IT Asset Management (ITAM) initiative.
  • Must have at least 3 years’ experience with GCSS-Army.
  • Security Clearance – SECRET.
  • Requires completion of approved DoD Supply and Logistics Training and completion of GCSS-Army Training and Certification System (GTRAC) course.
  • Must have general knowledge for conducting inventory of 100% of IT assets used in organization.
  • Requires ability to create, implement and enforce process to maintain an inventory of all IT assets.
  • Must have ability to create and enforce processes and procedures to ensure all IT asset requests are managed and associated to an inventory prior to request fulfillment.
  • Must manage IT asset lifecycle and conduct regular asset reviews/track performance trend/data, lead process improvement efforts where necessary.
  • Must demonstrate ability to research industry standards and best practices to compare against current organization to estimate benchmarks and ensure continuous improvement of managing organization IT assets.
  • Must perform all requirements associated with receiving new equipment, turning in equipment for Primary Hand Receipt Holder, sub-hand receipting equipment using the appropriate form, using appropriate form for any corrections, returning equipment to contractor, shipping of equipment, financial liability investigations of property loss, maintaining government forms for requisition and invoicing/shipping, and all equipment maintenance requests and lateral transfers.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain on-line GFE inventory and CM.
  • Maintain 100% accountability of IT property using GCSS-A to track property management.
  • Receive new equipment; inventory, inspect and complete the DD form 250 documents upon receipt of new equipment.
  • Perform as Primary Hand Receipt Holder’s Property Manager for Mission Services Division and Front Office.
  • Issue/Turn-In equipment for Mission Services Division and Front Office utilizing DD2062 for all assigned personnel and maintaining DD2062 until property has been returned or properly disposed.
  • Perform a 10% monthly inventory and 100% inventory bi-annually for Mission Services Division and Front Office.
  • Develop and maintain sub-hand receipts, make corrections to hand receipts, initiate and process FLIPLs IAW assigned directives, perform lateral transfers and support asset management audits, as requested.
  • Hand receipt property to all Customer directorates and maintain a consolidated record on DD 3161.
  • Issue equipment, develop, and maintain sub-hand receipts, make corrections to hand receipts, initiate and process FLIPLs IAW assigned directives, perform lateral transfers and support asset management audits, as requested.
  • Inventory all mobile/wireless device services and actions IAW approved policies.
  • Secure on post/off post warehouses; move property to different locations and Alt-Site.
  • Respond to incidents in event an external location receives an alarm activation.
  • Perform transportation of equipment and maintain responsibility for obtaining courier orders from the appropriate government agency; includes obtaining transportation.
  • Perform administrative work associated with receiving and sub-hand receipting equipment.
  • Use GCSS-A as primary tool to record and track government property.
  • Maintain property that is added, transferred, and removed from primary hand receipt holder and indicate on the appropriate forms to issue, track, and inventory and manage government property.
  • Verify all equipment is issued to end user utilizing DA Form 2062 or DA Form 3161.
  • Perform 10% inventory on government property each month ensuring 100% inventory is accomplished annually for property managed.
  • Track and document property IAW Government policy for turn-in to DRMO or other government property disposal system.
  • Perform 100% inventory of CCI each month and provide monthly reports of items inventoried to include CCI equipment.
  • Use government tracking software, if applicable, for Property Management via ServiceNow or other designated approved system.
  • Serve as Primary Hand Receipt Holder’s Property Manager for all Customer IT, AV, VI, CCI, and installation equipment, components, and peripherals.
  • Receive, sign, ship, and maintain property IAW AR 710-2, DA Pamphlet 710-2- 1, AR 735- 5, AR 25-1, AR 25-2, Customer Policy Memorandum No. 710.
  • Maintain accurate property records.
  • Sign property hand receipts when equipment delivered into possession; obtain signature from Customer when delivering the equipment.
  • Designated with full liability for equipment in possession.
  • Hold last authorized individual accountable for all damages.
