Qualifications:
The Senior SharePoint Developer must possess the following minimum skills and expertise:
- 8+ years’ experience with SharePoint Development (including customized code, creating/modifying web parts, & creating/modifying SharePoint workflows).
- 5+ years’ experience in the following areas:
- Software Development Life Cycle Process (includes SDLC, Agile, SCRUM, Lean, etc.).
- Mentoring junior personnel on proper practices & procedures.
- Documenting software defects using bug tracking system & reporting defects to software developers & project managers.
- Software development unit testing, system testing, functional testing, user acceptance testing, or other development testing experience.
- HTML, CSS, & JavaScript/jQuery.
- Requires TS/SCI clearance with SBI & ability to attain SI, TK, G, HCS, & NATO Secret clearance.
- Requires DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customization & creative solutions to fully utilize all aspects of managed platforms, to include, but not limited to, SharePoint.
- Provide application development for MS Sharepoint for custom in-house developed portal.
- Collaborate with peers to ensure best practices, team norms, & standards are followed.
- Provide development & version control for SharePoint applications.
- Estimate level of effort required for design, development, deployment, & testing of SharePoint solutions.
- Participate in iterative development team through all facets of process to include sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, reviews, & retrospectives.
- Develop documentation to include test plans, end-user documentation, & flowcharts.
- Create/update test plans & record results in SharePoint developer documentation.
- Collaborate with QA team to mitigate findings identified during testing.
- Use approved Government-provided templates for required documentation & ensure all related documents stored in single repository.
- Adhere to traditional development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, & Lean, in SharePoint development practices.
- Provide project status reports at all stages of development lifecycle.
