Qualifications

The Senior Content Site Manager requires the following minimum skills and expertise:  

  • Must demonstrate expertise & understanding in the following areas: 
  • In-depth knowledge & understanding of labor category activities required to meet mission requirements.  
  • Mastery of qualitative & quantitative analytic methodologies. 
  • Active pursuit of developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology.  
  • Ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address & contribute to high-level tasks.  
  • In-depth analysis of analytic operations & knowledge management issues across organizational/intra-IC boundaries; clearly articulates key findings.  
  • Ability to work independently & with minimal oversight.  
  • Ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, & adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.  
  • Minimum 12 years’ experience related to specific labor category with at least portion of experience within last 2 years (desired).  
  • Requires 10+ years demonstrated experience in intelligence discipline working in DoD or IC within last 2 years.  
  • Requires advanced experience using Microsoft SharePoint.

  • Additional special qualifications include: 
  • Assists aligning processes & technology to enable information sharing by analysts & organizations for analytic production.  
  • Uses centralized & peripheral databases, content management, & records management systems; shapes workflow & processes.  
  • Compiles reports on performance/usage metrics & future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities including, but not limited to, search, discovery, storage & retrieval of data, and formal production & taskings.  
  • Disseminates intelligence products across separate networks and portals. 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify & catalog relevant intelligence information. 
  • Develop & maintain index of web-based resources. 
  • Host & manage unstructured intelligence products/content. 
  • Structure, display, & publish resources on designated web platforms (e.g., MS SharePoint). 
  • Synchronize content across portals, product repositories, & other managed sites. 
  • Ensure timely access to intelligence products for Army, joint, interagency, & coalition partners. 
  • Maintain intelligence content websites by keeping them relevant & up to date with current/validated intelligence content through regular web searching & research, engagement with intelligence producers, & situational awareness of operations. 
  • Conduct QC checks of links/URLs on intelligence content sites. 
  • Populate hosted SharePoint portals for intelligence organizations. 
  • Ensure newly identified products are tracked & populated on master content management tracker. 
  • Ensure relevant intelligence content disseminated to other networks based on classification & releasability. 
  • Facilitate update of referring URLs, links, or pointers on external web sites; update externally hosted articles. 
  • Provide customization & creative solutions to fully utilize all aspects of managed platforms. 
  • Provide Information Sharing, Data Acquisition, IT solutions in form of services & software as needed. 
  • Draft & maintain SOPs for content management procedures. 
  • Maintain subject matter expertise on certain named operations & serve as main POC between theater and mission partners. 
  • Identify mission needs or gaps in intelligence dissemination, architecture, access, technical, & information sharing; provide solutions or requirements. 
  • Track deployment cycles ensuring proactive engagement before & during deployment to identify intelligence gaps. 
  • Serve as broker & POC for incoming feedback, RFIs, & inquiries; respond to RFIs as needed. 
  • Maintain & update web-enabled portals for crisis actions or contingency operations by providing crisis knowledge center. 
  • Participate in meetings or working groups in support of assigned named operations. 
  • Advise with subject matter expertise across specified single-source intelligence disciplines for intelligent production & dissemination processes. 
  • Maintain & create comprehensive catalog of all intelligence reporting mechanisms with detailed information on processes for individual requests for access & entitlements; update intelligence data catalog continuously. 
  • Maintain customer-facing, web-accessible interactive index hosted on specified mission network; update as needed.
