Qualifications

The Senior Intelligence Management Specialist requires the following minimum skills and expertise:  

  • Must demonstrate experience and understanding in the following areas: 
  • Comprehensive mission knowledge & skills that affirm completion of developmental training/experiences for labor category.  
  • Ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, & technically advanced.  
  • Ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting & range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, & intelligence disciplines.  
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight & direction.  
  • Ability to collaborate & work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, & addressing analytic disputes/conflict resolution.  
  • Ability to develop concise, insightful, & comprehensive products for defense intelligence.  
  • Ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems.  
  • Provides guidance in selecting, designing, & applying analytic methodologies.  
  • Uses argument evaluation & validated analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives.  
  • Comprehensive understanding of Army editing standards, classification standards, & DIA style guide.  
  • Possesses elevated skills in writing, initiative, editorial judgment, & professional collaboration.  
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience related to specific labor category with portion of experience within last 2 years (desired); 7+ years demonstrated experience related to specific labor category in intelligence discipline working in DoD or IC within last 2 years (desired).

  • Requires current DoD Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain CI poly. 
  • Additional special qualifications include: 
  • Provides full range of intelligence & administrative support to assist analysts, engineers, & scientists involved in variety of intelligence disciplines/activities.  
  • Activities include, but are not limited to, reviewing documents for accuracy & responding to staff requests on accessing, coordinating, consolidating, or formatting; assisting administration & management of RFIs, task actions, reports, & briefings; preparing correspondence & other documents needed to support program management & associated activities; creating read-ahead documents, coordinating with security to ensure appropriate guest access, & building read-ahead books or material for official functions/meetings; & providing cross-domain data transfer & intelligence dissemination support. 

Responsibilities

  • Enable dissemination of relevant all-source, single-source, open-source, & publicly available information supporting Army intelligence requirements & joint, interagency, & coalition partners. 
  • Support across multiple U.S. & multinational networks.  
  • Assist in weekly or ad hoc reporting requirements. 
  • Manage organizational group & office duty mailboxes/calendars; maintain continuity of upcoming events. 
  • Keep track of leave and TDY status for senior leaders in coordination with Program Management. 
  • Maintain conference room/collaboration room calendar. 
  • Assist in coordinating office meetings & events, including deconfliction / scheduling meeting times, providing visitor information, setting up & scheduling VTCs, & preparing agendas with input from Government. 
  • Prepare printed materials for conferences; ensure facility/equipment set up & functional; provide visitor assistance. 
  • Coordinate with staff & external vendors to schedule appointments, offsite/onsite meetings, & travel. 
  • Review documentation & correspondence for accuracy/proper format; ensure compliance with information management regulations. 
  • Maintain operations tasker log & routing correspondence log with regular updates; maintain log of outgoing correspondence & personnel actions. 
  • Synchronize activities & strategic communications. 
  • Prepare & maintain branded materials (brochures, handouts, bookmarks, nameplates, etc.); coordinate on printing, supply, & mailing. 
  • Prepare & present briefings for visitors; coordinate briefing updates with stakeholders.  
  • Produce executive-level presentations based on mission requirements for use in leadership briefings.  
  • Maintain support service guide to outline capabilities & services for external customers; coordinate content updates when necessary.
