Bravura Information Technology Systems, Inc. is hiring for a Software Developer to become an integral part of our team. We’re specifically seeking someone to support efforts for the development, test, and instruction of applications within Java and Python environments. This role will also support the design, development, and implementation of material for emerging technologies. This program is located at Fort Eisenhower, GA.
Responsibilities:
- Design, code, and test applications using scripts (e.g. Python and JAVA)
- Develop Application Programmable Interfaces (APIs) to enable advanced network security operations, employ network communication, and develop hybrid network solutions.
- Demonstrate the basic programming techniques used to create scripts for automating system administrative tasks.
- Construct web scraping scripts to programmatically obtain data and content from webpages.
- Design and implement iterators and generators.
- Design and develop advanced data structures: collections, arrays, queues, sets, dictionaries.
- Create applications using techniques such as multiplexing, forking, multithreading.
- Employ Python, Perl, and JAVA to automate network operations.
- Employ Software Defined Networks to enhance communications.
- Develop written training material, assist with training material validation, implement training material as certified classroom instruction, and maintain training material to support Signal School courses.
- Produce associated media (e.g., presentations, videos, and other training support material)
- Provide Instructor notes/preparation. (e.g., Instructor notes for training support material)
- Make recommendations and adjustments to enhance quality and relevancy of learning products and material.
- Develop assessments (labs, quizzes, and tests) to evaluate student’s ability to understand training material and perform associated tasks IAW intended learning outcome.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a Master’s in Science (M.S.) Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) from a formal higher education institution; a B.S. degree in STEM will be accepted with additional years of experience and certifications.
- Must possess a Common Faculty Developer-Instructor Course (CFD-IC) certification that is less than 5 years old or be able to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Must possess 3+ years’ operational experience developing software/applications if holding M.S. Must possess 5+ years’ operational experience developing software/applications if holding B.S.
- Must sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before having access to work-related materials.
- Must comply with non-disclosure requirements in FAR section 3.104-5(b) (or DFAR equivalent).
- Must complete annual DoD Cyber Awareness Challenge Training and all required Information Assurance (IA) training specified in AR 25-2 and directed by Government.
- Must complete annual Security Refresher Training, Antiterrorism Level I Training, iWATCH training, Level I Operations Security (OPSEC) training, and Threat Awareness and Reporting Program (TARP) training.
- Must be capable of obtaining and retaining a Common Access Card (CAC).
Years of Experience: 3+ years’ operational experience developing software/applications (with M.S.); 5+ years’ operational experience developing software/applications (with B.S.)
Education/Certifications: M.S. Degree in STEM OR B.S. Degree in STEM (w/ additional exp.); CFD-IC Certification (within 90 days of hire)
