Years of Experience: 8+ years of experience as a deployment manager for defense equipment and systems, supporting a Defense Acquisition program office; MA/MS may be substituted for 4 years of experience (4+ years total); an additional 8 years of related experience may substitute for an advanced degree (16+ years total)

Job Description:
- Assist the Government with developing, reviewing, documenting, and resolving issues pertaining to Integrated Product Support elements such as packaging, handling, storage and transportation, and facilities.
- Review, analyze, prepare, or update ILS studies, analyses, and program documentation in the areas of, but not limited to, supply, transportation, sustainment engineering, manpower, personnel, habitability, and facilities.
- Support the Government in identifying and developing logistic budget requirements such as transportation, training, manpower, parts, maintenance, care of supplies in storage, and postproduction software support in support of program objective memorandums.
- Track and manage CONUS/OCONUS equipment utilizing Government approved Accountable Property System of Records (APSR) such as DPAS, LMP, COLTS, RepairData, and RAID CLS.
- Assist the Government in inputting and maintaining in Government approved APSRs to account for all assets.
- Plan the disposal of equipment and materials to an approved disposition location and provide a turn in receipt copy to the Government.
- Assist the Government with coordination with DoD depot facilities to work deport core logistics and Public Private Partnership requirements for systems.
- Assist the Government in conducting core depot assessments of depot capacities and support developing requests for facility space, equipment, and organization requirements.
- Provide process management services for staffing functions related to tracking, monitoring, or delegating actions to meet reporting responsibilities, monitoring of organizational requirements or efforts, including, but not limited to, supporting deployed personnel and coordinating travel planning and post travel documentation.
- Provide support services related to refining or tracking actions to efficiently operate, including, but not limited to: coordinating facilities management; submitting of work orders in support of facilities maintenance and computer repair services; preparing documentation to support equipment/supply purchases and management; and assisting with assessments for organizational moves.
- Assist the Government and military operational units as they develop and process theater required documentation packages to obtain materials and resources for site preparation, crew support, and site protection.
- Assist in arranging Government housing and food incoming and outgoing systems crews and operator/maintainer teams IAW Army Field Support Brigade procedures.
- Assist the Government in coordinating the transportation of systems and crews at airfields, and arrange temporary storage for systems if required.
- Assist with host nation efforts to support systems in theater, including the use of host nations assets (such as equipment and facilities) when U.S. Government assets are not available.
- Assist the Government in tracking, reviewing, and providing data management for Contractors’ deliverables and requests (information, item disposition, travel, shipment, and purchase requests).
Qualifications:
- 8 or more years’ experience as a deployment manager for defense equipment and systems, supporting a Defense Acquisition program office.
- BA/BS or higher.
- An additional 8 years of experience in a related field may be substituted for education.
- A Master’s degree or higher in a related field may be substituted for 4 years of experience.
