ABERDEEN, MD — Bravura, Inc., a Small Business Administration (SBA)-certified Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) based in Aberdeen, Md., has been selected as an awardee on the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Multiple-Award Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. This announcement marks Bravura’s second major IDIQ award in 2025.
MDA awarded initial winners on December 2, following proposal submissions in October 2025. MDA SHIELD has a $151B ceiling and is open for all MDA and Department of Defense (DoD) entities to rapidly issue orders under one flexible enterprise vehicle. The scope of services will focus on rapid delivery of innovative capabilities to the Warfighter, including use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML), Digital Engineering, Weapon Design & Development, Disruptive Technologies, Open Systems Architecture, and much more. The SHIELD IDIQ is a key component of the “Golden Dome” initiative, a proposed layered defense shield to help safeguard the American homeland.
