Qualifications:
- Must possess Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Requires strong understanding of statistical concepts, data analysis methodologies, and business operations with 2-3 years of relevant data analysis experience.
- Must possess experience with data analysis tools including Python, R, SQL, and advanced Excel skills; experience with data modeling, predictive analytics, and knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms.
- Requires experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms; ability to effectively communicate complex information through visual techniques and translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Must have working knowledge of statistical analysis methods including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and time series analysis; ability to collect, clean, transform, and manipulate large datasets for comprehensive analysis.
- Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy; excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to convey findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across all organizational levels.
- Requires understanding of business processes, KPIs, and ability to align data analysis with business objectives; demonstrated adaptability to changing business needs and proactive approach to learning new tools, technologies, and industry trends.
- Role may require up to 25% travel or TDY.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain centralized repository of educational resources to support command in maintaining or enhancing business analytical reports, ensuring effective transfer of knowledge to decision-makers.
- Develop additional data analytical reports to address gaps in system reporting and provide visual data models to facilitate decision-making.
- Validate transparency of reports in alignment with security and classification processes in coordination with G2 and G6.
- Ensure data confidence in reporting models by identifying and addressing flaws in data accuracy.
- Provide accessible locations for Command SMEs to utilize visual data reporting for deeper and more robust analysis.
- Facilitate reports based on G6 requirements.
- Validate Customer development documentation (e.g., Bug Log, Change Log, Event Log, Technical Documentation) to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Validate end-user training materials to assist with common issues.
- Ensure IT systems and security policies and standards are upheld.
- Assist in facilitating action plans for identified command performance measures.
- Develop integrated reports for Common Operating Picture (COP) or other methodologies, including ICE evaluation reports for KMO or delegated representative.
- Attend meetings and conferences (in-person, phone, or MS Teams) as primary division interface with Government.
- Stay updated on emerging data analysis technologies and advancements within DoD sphere to identify tools that could benefit command.
