Job Description:

  • Install, upgrade, and maintain computer components and software, and integrate automation processes.
  • Administer the Customer’s Microsoft 365 Tenant and Azure cloud environments.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain cloud-based IT environments; assist as needed with local environment, including Wireless or Commercial Internet hardware, software, application tool, system, or other networks used by Customer.
  • Use ITIL compliant standards on tasks employing agency specific or unique hardware and software in both classified and unclassified network environments.
  • Ensure all databases, systems, network devices and any other systems are STIG compliant.
  • Provide system administration and operating system support for file, print, thin client, and common user application servers, server farms/banks.
  • Install hardware, operating system, and software for file, print, and common-user applications servers, and server farms/banks.
  • Install, test, and validate security IAVA patches on all servers.
  • Perform security checklists on operating systems and system backups for each server.
  • Monitor system logs, security logs, and application logs and log collection server.
  • Manage dynamic allocation of IP address space.
  • Assign and maintain IP address database using DHCP or Static IP Addressing.
  • Maintain records of registered DNS registrations and set standard naming conventions for DNS registrations.
  • Develop and modify IP Assignment Schema.
  • Perform release management to include commercial software, standard software, site license management, for APL, and new system releases.
  • Maintain inventory of software licenses and usage.
  • Provide local touch labor.
  • Maintain digital certificates (SSL/TLS) for use by various sites, hardware devices, and other use.
  • Assist with hardware and software support to ensure security compliance on all servers and workstations against various malicious software.
  • EMC Operations, Management, & Reporting (5.3.1):
  • Responsible for maintaining Enterprise Media Center system, ensuring optimal performance and availability; perform regular system checks, updates, and troubleshooting, as necessary.
  • Ensure all users of system are adequately trained and supported in its use.
  • Provide Office EDU365 support for account creation/deletion for in and out-processing of incoming/outgoing staff, faculty, and students.
  • Ensure information identified by management provided and captured during in and out processing; support integration or removal of personnel from community.
  • Draft, implement, and execute formal and informal IM/IT training to installation Customers.
  • Provide training within Customer’s requested timeframe, or when new equipment, software, or features added to existing capabilities.
  • Coordinate, design, and implement and provide training in Microsoft templates for Strategy Research Requirement (SRR) and other student curriculum requests.
  • Analyze/provide reporting of Mobile Device usage; ensure users receive required training and acknowledge Acceptable Use Policy; coordinate services with external vendors.
  • Perform administration tasks for Office 365, including creating, deleting, and managing users, devices, groups, and objects.
  • View and manage user email mailboxes, Microsoft 365 groups, and Exchange Online; create, edit, delete, and restore Microsoft 365 groups.
  • Create, edit, delete, and restore Azure Active Directory security groups, including managing group creation, expiration, and naming policies.
  • Support service requests and monitor health of tenant services.
  • Manage cloud collaboration tools, including MS Teams, ZOOMGOV, Learning Management System, and others.
  • May be required to support systems administration requirements for Amazon Cloud and/or other cloud-based Government environments.
  • Must possess knowledge and skills in compute, networking, storage, and database AWS services as well as AWS deployment and management services.
  • Must possess knowledge and skills in deploying, managing, and operating workloads on AWS as well as implementing security controls and compliance requirements.
  • Must possess knowledge and skills in using AWS Management Console and AWS Command Line Interface (CLI), and an understanding of AWS Well-Architected Framework, AWS networking, security services, and AWS global infrastructure.
  • Must have ability to identify which AWS services meet a given technical requirement and define technical requirements for AWS-based application.
