Help Desk Specialist (Multiple Positions Available)

  • Provide technical support of IT related audio-visual equipment, such as televisions, projectors and VTC peripherals used in the conference room(s), including internet access for visitors.
  • Aid incoming and outgoing civilian, Contractor, and military personnel by providing equipment and security orientation, as well as transferring files and accounts.
  • Track all equipment inventory, assignments, outdated or defective equipment, via the Asset Management portion of the web application portal, to be excessed IAW Customer Standard Operating Procedure Number 710-5, Logistics Management Policy and established IM/IT procedures.
  • Track all software licenses, expiration dates, provide remediation and provide purchasing support to include review of software requirement, appropriate versions and amount of license required to ensure all software is kept up to date and permissible on the network; process renewals when required.
  • Provide technical and administrative support for supplemental hardware and equipment related to printers, faxes, scanners, mobile devices and other applicable communications tools and software.
  • Provide administrative support for the IM/IT branch, inclusive of manning the Computer Support Help Desk Ticketing System via the SharePoint ticketing system and one (1) main phone line.
  • Provide set-up, distribution, troubleshooting, and return support for ancillary technology devices (e.g., mobile devices, external CD/DVD drives).
  • Provide help desk assistance for LAN users.
